Indian tech startup Smart Sight Innovation (SSI) develops an app designed to improve maintenance and inspection of vehicles.
According to an April 27. announcement SSI built the mobile app for an unnamed American client specializing in the development of AI, IoT and other blockchain-based platforms. The app is currently available on Android devices.
The app creates a summary of issues such as repair work and compliance with inspection criteria.
SSI says that the app sends alerts to the vehicle owner/driver while taking pictures of parts to provide a detailed report on what needs to be fixed.
The app offers to relieve car owners from heavy paperwork associated with vehicle maintenance and inspection.
Built on the HyperLedger blockchain, the data are saved in formats that comply with relevant state and federal regulations.
The firm says:
“As inspection reports are available digitally, vehicle drivers can produce them as and when demanded by law enforcement agencies. Engineers from SSI worked on the android App, as well as the platform website’s frontend. The backend uses HyperLedger blockchain technology, while the native android app was developed with Android Studio & Java.”
