VeVe, the digital collectibles marketplace, has announced the launch of Marvel art nonfungible tokens (NFTs).
It has been reported that the platform has released digital NFT covers featuring artworks from three Marvel comic book artists. The limited-edition, 1-of-1 covers feature Spider-Man and the Black Panther. Notably, the NFTs are available in a “silent auction,” ending at 2:00 pm on September 2.
However, in its latest partnership with Marvel Entertainment, VeVe has dropped three limited edition NFTs featuring Marvel art. The NFTs feature artworks from three Marvel artists, Sara Pichelli, Brian Stelfreeze, and Skottie Young. All the NFTs are based on the Immutable X scaling solution.
The Marvel art NFTs are available in a silent auction on the VeVe NFT marketplace. To explain, you can place a bid on the NFT during the auction privately. This means that the value of your bid will be hidden from the others and vice versa.
Thus, once the auction ends, the highest bidder will win, as the auction is LIVE exclusively on the VeVe app.
